Shannon: Shades of Blue+Small Haul+Friend Pics

Hey readers, it's Shannon. Yesterday was my b-day party! I just had a family party, but it was still fun. Today's outfit was cool because there was 2 shades of blue in it. I also have some pictures of me and my friend Gabby when hanging out a few weeks ago. I also have a few things that I got in the past few weeks. Today, I visited the boutique, Bella Mia that I did a post on a few weeks ago. I only got 2 things because I was kinda browsing, but I got 2 cute things.

Shannon: Tresemme' Fresh Start Collection Review

I'm sure most of you have heard of the Tresemme' Fresh Start collection, designed to help you out on the days when you can't jump in the shower. I picked up 2 products from this collection (the dry shampoo for straight/normal hair, even though mine is wavy, and the refreshing mist). You saw me buy the dry shampoo in the haul post, but I recently picked up the refreshing mist to complete the duo. Now to start off w/, I love these products, I used them 2 days ago, and when I use them together, my hair didn't look greasy anymore. In fact, my hair looked like it was just washed. The first thing you do to apply this product is to make a center part. Now spray the dry shampoo (a little generously) on the part. It will make you look old, because your roots will look gray, even silver. Then, w/out disrupting the product in the middle, make a deep left part and  set the middle product off to the side for now. Spray product on your roots. Now do the same thing but w/ the right part this time. After you finished doing this, let the product sit in your hair for 1-2 mins. After that time, take a brush (or a comb, I use one because brushes take shine away from your hair) and rake it through thoroughly, getting all the product out (the gray stuff so come out of your hair easily). After you finished, spray your head w/ the refreshing mist to give it some shine. Afterwards, I curled my hair, and it looked great! I love this product so much, and is super helpful on school mornings. The refreshing mist is a little more expensive then the dry shampoo, but well worth it. I really hope you try this out!

Shannon

Shannon: Tribal Dance

Hey readers, it's Shannon. T-minus 3 days until my b-day (it's on Friday unless you couldn't figure that out). Nothing big, but some family is coming over. I'm very excited to do my back-to-school shopping. I sort of have a list of a few things compiled, but there is not much. I got these tribal print shorts when my mom gave me $20 for good grades this past year. My sister offered to take me to the mall because she had to get comfortable sandals for her trip to Germany. So I headed into Forever 21, and bought 3 things: these shorts, a long necklace, and a pair of earrings, for $20! Do you believe it? Well I love these shorts, and they're so comfy.

Poking fun at yourself is good in moderation!

I really am into tribal print at the moment, and I think it's such a summery print. I can't believe this tote that I got as an early birthday present (thanks Em!) went so nicely w/ these shorts. I thought that maybe the prints would clash, but they don't!
Til' next time!

Shannon: In the Army

Hey readers, it's Shannon. Today was a low-key day, and I just hung out w/ my mom all day. I spent a good part of the day reading the #1 New York Times Bestseller,The Help. This book just came into the movies, so it inspired me to read it. It is so good! If you have never read this book before, I encourage you to! I made myself wear cargo pants today because I needed to start wearing long pants instead of shorts. I got these cargo pants at Charlotte Russe on sale for $5 at Christmas time. I love the color of them! They're not faded or anything, they're just pure army green!

The cargo pants are slightly edgy, so I think the girly, flowy top balance it out quite nicely. This outfit is a keeper! Sound off in the comment section!
