Shannon: Pirouettes

Hey readers, I know it's been a few days, and I 'm so sorry for that. But I've been sick, and have been in no mood to live in anything other than shorts and a t-shirt the last few days. But today I was feeling a lot better, so I hung out w/ one of my besties, Emily. We walked around Downtown Plymouth, got ice cream, looked around the library, and cruised the boutiques. If you have never been to Downtown Plymouth, you should plan a trip there, because it's very artsy and quaint. There are only a few boutiques, but the ones that are they are super cute and totally fashionable. The pictures that I'm gonna show you aren't with Emily (she'll be on here soon enough) or in Downtown Plymouth (stay tuned), but are w/ me in my backyard (kind of a let down, sorry). But I absolutely love the skirt that I'm wearing! I've had this since Christmas, but have never pulled this out of my closet  before. It's really girly (which is a sense of style that recently I haven't been channeling lately, but I did today) but really chic at the same time. I kept it simple, no crazy colors or patterns, but I think that's what made it chic.

This is Pepper, my yorkie puppy. She wouldn't look at the camera, so I settled for this shot.

The boutiques in Downtown Plymouth are really unique, and very one-of-a-kind. My favorite (and probably everyone else's too) is Bella Mia. This store is probably my favorite because of what they carry. They carry some unknown designers, but they also carry some very popular brands like Free People, Tulle, and Jack. This is also my favorite place to get jewelry because everything is very simple, yet beautiful. There are beautiful pendant necklaces there all for under $30! If you have never been there before, then you really need to check it out! The other boutique that I like is Gigi's Mode. This store is much more urban, and very funky cool. This place is also another great place to get jewelry, but these pieces are more funky and modern, rather than classic and timeless. They also sell things for your home, like air fresheners (they smell really good) and books. But they also sell really great smelling roll-on perfume. This is definitely another store to pursue if you're in Downtown Plymouth!
Until next time my lovely readers,
Shannon
