Shannon: Target Beauty Haul

Hey readers, it's Shannon. Last night, I had to beg my mom to take me to Target to get some beauty essentials. But I finally got my way. I only got a total of 6 items, but I just thought I'd show you what I got.

This brush is to-die-for! I'd been looking for a big fluffy brush lately, and I finally found one that suits my needs. This brush is by Up and Up by Target (so is the next brush). I like to wear all-over shimmer, and a blush brush puts it all in one place. This places it evenly across your face, and gives you great coverage. I got this brush for $4.99. If you don't have one of these brushes yet, by one at Target!

This brush is a crease brush. I needed one of these since I'm getting into eye-shadow. I think this brush is really smooth and silky, and I love this brush. This is by the same collection as the one featured above, and I got this for $2.49.

I've been looking for a good, voluminous mascara lately, and I finally found one! This is Maybelline New York: The Colossal Volum Express. Now this mascara is waterproof for a reason: it's really hot and muggy outside, and my mascara likes to run. I'll probably pick up a tube of regular mascara soon for fall and winter, but for now I'm set. I really recommend this mascara becuase it gives you huge lashes that also look thick. I got this for $4.99. P.S. At Target right now there is this offer that if you buy 3 Maybelline products then you get a $5 gift card. The only problem is that there are selected products that you have to buy, and I would have gotten it, but my concealer wasn't part of it. Darn it!
This next product that I got was Maybelline New York: Expert Wear Eye Color Palette in Sunlit Bronze. I'm in love w/ this palette! I've been looking for a palette that was warm and that is good for fall. This palette is awesome because it gives you base, lid, crease, and liner color all in one. This is a great palette and works for everyone. This palette cost me $3.94.

This product is something that wasn't an impulse buy at all because I really needed this. This concealer is part of Maybelline's Fit Me collection, in concealer #15 (my skin tone). This cost me $6.49. I really love this because it gives great coverage. My only complaint is that it's a little thick for my taste, but it still works really well. I really recommend the Fit Me collection for everyone!

This was the only hair product that I got, but something I really needed. This is from the TRESemme'  Fresh Start collection. The product is Dry Shampoo, Smoothing (for straight/normal hair). My hair is very wavy, and more on the curlier side than the straight side, but my hair sometimes needs a little smoothing. I love this product and really recommend it for people like me who get lazy sometimes don't feel like showering. The only time that I wouldn't use this when you're playing a sport because you need to shower anyway, and the oil combination of the two would not be good. This cost me $3.79. Try it out!

I hope that you are using these recommendations, because I know they work. If you could sound off on this in the comment section that would be great! Also, it be great if I could have some suggestions on a good, inexpensive tinted moisturizer. Thanks for reading! Until next time!

XOXO,
Shannon
